SMART Goals
SMART Goals are goals that are:
Specific – unambiguous (who, what, where, when)
Measurable – its clear what you need to do to meet them
Attainable – they can be achieved
Realistic – they relate to you
Timely – They have a set deadline
Setting goals means that you:
Have direction
Have priorities
Have clarity
Can plan well and use your time well
Can judge if you have met your targets
Its good to:
Write the target down
Check it regularly
Review your progress
Recognise your achievement
